NEW Garden Waste Collection Service

A new garden waste collection service will launch in Rugby from Monday 3 April 2017. The existing green bin service will end on your last normal collection day on or before 31 March.

If you want a garden waste collection service from April 2017, you must opt-in.

Sign Up Now Read the terms and conditions

You can pay by credit or debit card at any time of the day, using our secure website. Once you have signed up, allow up to two weeks for us to send your bin sticker and arrange to empty your bin.

The service costs £40 per bin for the year, running from April 2017 to March 2018. You can opt-in at any time, but there are no discounts for part-year subscriptions.

How the service will work

From 3 April 2017 we will only empty green garden waste bins from households that have opted-in to the garden waste collection service. Your bin will be emptied on the same day as your blue recycling bin on your normal bin day.

When you opt-in you will receive a bin sticker, which you will need to stick to the body of your bin at the rear, below the handle. This sticker will be unique to you, and will match our records.

If you opt-in, your green bin will be emptied every fortnight between April 2017 and March 2018, apart from a short break at Christmas.
