Climb Pen y Fan for Little Troopers this July

On Saturday 17th July, Forces Wives Challenge are organising a climb for 100 women from their community to climb the infamous Pen y Fan in Wales.

The event will raise money for military children’s charity, Little Troopers, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. This will be the fourth FWC100 event following a hugely successful virtual event in 2020.

Heather Sharp, founder of Forces Wives Challenge, comments: “Pen y Fan holds a special place in the heart of the military community and for FWC so we are delighted to be returning to the mountain in person this year. It’s going to be a really fun day for a fantastic cause. Little Troopers is a small charity that has worked tirelessly to support military children, particularly over the last 12 months, so we hope that we can raise record funds to support their work.

Louise Fetigan, founder of Little Troopers, adds: “We are so pleased to be the chosen charity for this year’s FWC100 event. Activities like this really do make a big difference for our charity and enable us to carry on our work supporting all children who have a parent serving in the British Armed Forces. We’ll be taking our own Little Troopers team and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

To attend the Pen Y Fan climb you must be a FWC member (you can sign-up for free). Tickets cost £15 and you will receive a FWC t-shirt.
