Message from Reading Force

It’s been a very busy summer at Reading Force – which culminates in a nationwide cycle ride to raise money for our charity. Not content with undertaking Ride London in aid of Reading Force, this time our intrepid cyclist is travelling from Land’s End to John o’Groats. If you would like to sponsor him, the link is here.

The period of Covid has been our most hectic time ever, as so many Forces families have found we offered a refreshingly simple way to remain in touch. We also celebrated our tenth anniversary with an online event at which the Chief of Defence Staff, commented on the valuable service we offer to Forces families. We heard from all the staff team at RF and announced new ventures such as the exciting new materials for teenagers which will be available very soon. The event finished with us being read to by internationally renowned author Sir Michael Morpurgo.

Later the same week we returned to Wavel School in Aldershot, where we first began – and were delighted that award-winning author Meg Rosoff came with us to celebrate ten busy years.

Wherever you are this summer, do get in touch so we can equip your Forces family with reading materials that keep everyone in touch.

Very best wishes to all, Alison, Hattie, Elaine, Fiona, Judith and Paula.

Adoption is a big decision. You may have many questions about the process and whether or not it's right for you, including if and how it might work alongside your military employment or career. We are here to advise and assist you with this every step of the way.

We are a friendly and professional Registered Adoption Agency, covering the whole of the UK – we can provide advice to those based abroad, but placements can only be made with those currently residing in the UK.

We are military specialists, who understand your needs.

We can support you through any potential postings, ensuring that you don’t have to start the adoption process again if you move.

We champion equality and inclusion, and welcome applications from all members of the serving Armed Forces community.

We are with you for the life of your adoption journey, thanks to our dedicated Post-Adoption Support service.

We were recently awarded an outstanding rating from the Ofsted inspection team. You can read the full report here.
