This Army HIVE is open for visitors. An appointment system is in place so before your visit please email or phone the HIVE to book one. Please also ensure that ‘Hands, Face, Space’ is adhered to within the HIVE building and office to protect all visitors and staff. Alternatively our staff are available to answer your queries by email and telephone during the advertised office hours.

ARMY WELFARE SERVICE OUR COMMITMENT TO THE SERVICE COMMUNITY DURING COVID-19

Army Welfare Service would like to reassure the whole Military Community of our commitment to deliver Personal Support and Community Support during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

Our dedicated staff have been delivering their services via innovative ways to ensure Serving Personnel, their families and the Chain of Command are well supported. A virtual delivery model has been adopted and although we had started to move back to some face to face delivery and activities, the recent lockdown restrictions have meant that we have reverted back to a virtual delivery.

PERSONAL SUPPORT (PS) is maintaining a service, providing specialist welfare support via telephone and other virtual means. Referrals should be emailed to Intake and Assessment Team (IAT) in accordance with AGAI 81 for triage and assessment. IAT email address is RC-AWS-IAT-0Mailbox@mod.gov.uk. Alternatively, call on 01904 882053. There may be a requirement to leave an answerphone message but be assured a member of staff will return the call as soon as possible.    

COMMUNITY SUPPORT (CS) delivery continues to provide a blend of virtual delivery and remotely planned activity as restrictions allow. All locations differ in delivery due to restrictions and staffing. Please contact your local Community Development Worker to find out what activities are going on in your area.
